¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²Ê

¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²Ê held its 120^th Commencement at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, MA on May 21, 2017. Kristen Bea Oliveira ’17, an elementary education major from Palmer, MA, was presented with the Eagle Award during the event.

“I wouldn't have been able to accomplish as much as I have if it wasn't for the support of the ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²Ê community,” Oliveira said. “Our University is like no other with the empowerment between the faculty and students. I am so thankful that I chose to make ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²Ê a part of my life.” 

Sponsored by Rev. Dr. Enzo V. and Mrs. Mary Lou DiGiacomo, the University’s Eagle Award is presented to a traditional undergraduate student who has had a significant impact on the ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²Ê community by exhibiting an overall positive attitude and demonstrating leadership in campus activities and athletics. Oliveira will continue her education at ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²Ê in the special education master’s program, working towards her goal of becoming a behavioral specialist.
